Trump vs. Cruz Gets Ugly: ‘The Worst Liar, Crazy or Very Dishonest. Perhaps All 3?\

Cruz accused Republican rivals of “repeating Barack Obama’s talking points on gay marriage.”

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump questioned the Christian faith of his rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), arguing that “he lies so much” in a tweet Friday.

During remarks at the Carolina Values Summit on Thursday, Cruz accused Republican rivals of “repeating Barack Obama’s talking points on gay marriage.”

“‘We surrender, we give up,’” Cruz said. “You might as well light the White House up in rainbow colors.”

While he did not name them, Cruz’s remarks were reportedly directed at Trump and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).

Trump has taken shots at Cruz's faith before. In a reference to Cruz's family history, Trump once argued that "not a lot of evangelicals come out of Cuba.”

Recently, Trump referenced ”Two Corinthians” rather than “Second Corinthians” when discussing Christianity at Liberty University.
