French TV Station’s Cameras Happen to Capture What Occurs Moments After Woman in Hijab Approaches Memorial for Brussels Victims

In the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Brussels, make-shift memorials and vigils have been erected as a way for people to honor and remember those who were injured or lost their lives in the attack. But at one of these sites, a French news station appeared to capture a disgraceful display amid the outpouring of support from across the globe.

Video of the incident, which was captured by the RTL television network, shows a woman wearing a traditional Muslim hijab walking through a vigil for Tuesday's victims. She is then seen sifting through multiple national flags and at one point picking up the Palestinian national flag.

She next walks over to what appears to be an Israeli national flag, picks it up and begins to rip it into pieces. After she tears the flag into scraps, cameras seemingly show her burying the pieces under other flags.

The incident reportedly occurred at the central Brussels location of Place de la Bourse.
