Police surrounded the vehicle ...
After terrified civilians fled the truck that barreled through a Bastille Day beachfront crowd in Nice, France, killing at least 84 people Thursday, police surrounded the vehicle and fired a hail of bullets into the cab.
That moment was caught on cellphone video.
Police identified the attacker as 31-year-old Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, a resident of Nice reportedly born in Tunisia.
French officials called it a terror attack. Two Americans, a father and son from Texas, were among the dead.
