Taylor and the hospital staff decided to bring the appointment to her.
A woman who arranged for her terminally ill mother to be present during her gender-revealing ultrasound appointment shared the touching moment in a now-viral video.
According to USA Today, Taylor Masilotti’s mother Donna, who was battling Stage 4 brain and lung cancer, was not able to travel on the day of her daughter’s 20-week ultrasound appointment. So Masilotti and the hospital staff decided to bring the appointment to her.
Masilotti laid in her mother’s hospital bed and held her hand as the doctor showed them the baby’s image. They discovered together that Taylor is having a girl.
Donna passed away three days later.
Masilotti and her boyfriend chose the name Stella for their daughter. She wrote on Facebook after her mother passed away, “Stella's angel, may you rest in peace. Please keep a close eye on this baby girl.”
