Paul Ryan reveals which presidential candidate he voted for last week

Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan has already cast his presidential vote — for his party’s nominee.

“I stand where I’ve stood all fall and all summer,” Ryan (Wis.) said during an interview on Fox News' “Fox and Friends” Tuesday morning. “In fact, I’ve already voted here in Janesville for our nominee last week in early voting.”

Ryan largely avoided using GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s name during the interview and said that he would be campaigning for House Republicans elsewhere when Trump comes to campaign in Wisconsin. The two men have feuded throughout the 2016 election cycle.

Nevertheless, Ryan contended that Republicans “need to support our entire Republican ticket.”

“I am supporting our entire Republican ticket. I have been all along, which has not changed at all,” Ryan said.

Former 2016 Republican presidential hopeful Ohio Gov. John Kasich also already cast his vote. But Kasich instead wrote-in Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
