Watch: Megyn Kelly fights back tears while discussing sexual harassment claims
November 18, 2016
During a CBS interview on Friday, Fox News host Megyn Kelly choked up while talking to Gayle King about being sexually harassed by her former boss, ex-Fox News executive Roger Ailes.
She explained that she kept it to herself at first because she thought it was a one time instance, so she didn't want to make waves. But when she heard that Ailes wanted Fox’s sexual harassment investigation to include only those who had worked under Gretchen Carlson, she knew she had to take action and come forward with the truth about Ailes.
Kelly fought back tears as she recalled the moment it dawned on her. She told King she was looking at pictures of her daughter, and thought to herself, "This will not happen to one more woman."
"I didn’t want Yadley to have to make the same choices I did. So I picked up the phone and called Lachlan Murdoch, and I told him to get his general counsel on the phone because I had something to tell him," Kelly said.
