Neil Cavuto viewers blast him with brutal comments after his scathing rebuke of 'liar' Trump

Fox News host Neil Cavuto stunned his viewers last week when he blasted President Donald Trump for being dishonest and repeatedly making statements that are not consistent with facts.

"So let me be clear, Mr. president, how can you drain the swamp if you’re the one who keeps muddying the waters?" Cavuto said. "I guess you’re too busy draining the swamp to ever stop and smell the stink you’re creating. That’s your doing. That’s your stink. Mr. president that’s your swamp."

The fiery monologue came as quite the surprise, especially to Cauvto's viewers, many of which wrote into his show the next day to give him a vitriolic dose of his own medicine.

What happened?

On his show Friday, the day after his Trump monologue, Cavuto dedicated the final minutes of his show to read the angry responses.

"Neil, you proved today that you’re a leftist liberal and a moron. I will no longer listen to your show. Ciao!" a viewer named Frank said.

"Welp...You just lost millions of Trump supporters today with your little rant on your president today Neil. Enjoy your low rating!" another viewer named Bobby wrote in.

"Neil Cavuto is an a** and a swamp creature," another person said.

"I was astounded, Cavuto has become a true jerk...Today was the last time I will use my electricity to watch your fat face," a viewer named Linda wrote.

"You're the fake news never-Trumper the president likes to warn us all about...and you're fat too!" a viewer named Kimmy said.

How did Cavuto respond to the hate?

He defended his comments, emphasizing that "nothing I shared was fake, everything was real."

"I’m not here to provide lessons just facts," Cavuto said. "Just like I've always said words matter, and yes tweets matter...All I'm saying is the president should be very careful calling anyone else being fake."

"So, I’ll try to keep it real. So, I hope you have a real good weekend and think twice about very nasty names on the fat thing," Cavuto added. "Goodnight."
