Trump hater tells singer to 'burn in hell' for agreeing to White House gig. She responds with class.

"American Idol" finalist Jax — the New Jersey native who finished third on the iconic TV singing contest in 2015 — received what she called a "once in a lifetime opportunity" to perform at the White House on the Fourth of July.

But as is the case with many in the entertainment field, virtue signaling seems to prove one's woke-ness — and one "DJ E LOVE" decided he wanted to let Jax know he doesn't appreciate the fact that she will perform with President Donald Trump in attendance.

"I heard that you are performing at the White House on July 4th this year," DJ E LOVE tweeted to Jax, adding "that is really too bad, because I have been following your career with great interest, but now that you've been outed as a Trumper, you can f***ing burn in hell." An "UNFOLLOWJAX:

How did the singer respond?

Rather than put the troll on full blast — which she had every right to do — Jax responded with class:

"I would have jumped at the chance to perform for any president," Jax replied. "It’s an honor & once in a lifetime opportunity to perform at the White House for a military event, given that my brother is a Marine & father a 9/11 first responder. Telling me to burn in hell seems counterproductive."

As you might expect, just about every comment on Jax's reply was encouraging and positive.

But as for DJ ELOVE? Well, let's just say other Twitter users gave him what for on Jax's behalf:

And here's a sampling of Jax's vocal skills — and appropriately enough with "The Star-Spangled Banner":
