April 09, 2021
The man says he suffered various injuries and his car was damaged
A customer at a Chicken Express drive-thru restaurant is suing after he says one of their employees launched through their window to attack him over a dispute about a discount.
And it was all caught on video.
The unappetizing incident was captured a the Chicken Express in Dallas, according to the Daily Post USA.
Leskel Nichols said through his attorney that he received a wrong order at the Chicken Express on March 10. When he complained, he says that Chester Harris, an employee, told him he could have a 50% discount on his next order.
Nichols said that when he returned later and tried to redeem the order from employee Christina Johnson, she refused to honor the discount.
He says that Harris spoke to him but a third employee, Terry Hall, decided to give him a knuckle sandwich instead.
The video shows an employee climb through the drive-thru window and grab at Nichols through his vehicle window. Another arm appears from inside the restaurant to grab at the employee.
Then another employee appears from behind to try to break up the fight, but she gets hit in the jaw by Nichols as he swings from inside his vehicle.
Nichols drives off after having some more words with the employee. There is no audio of the altercation in the video.
Nichols says that he sustained numerous injuries as a result of the fracas and that his car was damaged.
Nichols is being represented by the Johnny Cochran Law Firm.
