If Clarence Thomas' past remarks are any indication, the Supreme Court justice has no plans to heed John Oliver's demand that he "get the f*** off the Supreme Court."

On Sunday, Oliver, an alleged comedian, offered to pay Thomas $1 million per year and give him a new $2.4 million Prevost luxury motor coach if he retires from the Supreme Court.

Oliver's unfunny monologue repeated many debunked accusations and suggestions that Thomas is guilty of unethical behavior.

"Justice Thomas, we have a special offer for you tonight: We are prepared to offer you $1 million a year — for the rest of your life — if you simply agree to leave the Supreme Court immediately and never come back," Oliver said on his show.

"Lot on your plate right now. From stripping away women’s rights to hearing Jan. 6 cases you definitely shouldn’t be hearing to potentially helping roll back decades of federal regulations," he added. "You deserve a break away from the meanness of Washington, so you can be surrounded by the regular folks whose lives you made demonstrably worse for decades now."

After highlighting the features of the motor coach, Oliver suggested that Thomas is beholden to the opinions of his "friends," who he claimed are people who sit in "boardrooms" and on "mega yachts" and before "Hitler shrines."

"So that's the offer: $1 million a year and a brand-new condo on wheels," Oliver said. "And all you have to do in return is sign the contract and get the f*** off the Supreme Court."

After Oliver's legally questionable offer went viral, a former law clerk to Thomas, Carrie Severino, resurrected what Thomas said two years ago when asked about his media critics.

"One of the things I'd say in response to the media is when they talk about — especially early on — about the way I did my job, I said, 'I will absolutely leave the court when I do my job as poorly as you do yours,'" Thomas said at the time.

It's not likely that Thomas will respond to Oliver directly. But it's safe to say that nothing has changed for Thomas.
