Sparks fly on ‘The View’ after Meghan McCain blasts Joy Behar: ‘You guys have done a p***-poor job of convincing me that I should vote for a Democrat’

Co-hosts Meghan McCain and Joy Behar squared off on "The View" Tuesday over whether former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg would make a good Democratic presidential nominee against President Donald Trump.

The co-hosts discussed the news that Bloomberg will be in Las Vegas on Wednesday for his first Democratic presidential debate.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg pointed out that Bloomberg will likely take fire for controversial statements and stances that have emerged over the last week.

McCain added that Bloomberg clinching the nomination is hardly a sure bet, and insisted that it will be "a lot harder" than what his team might think.

Clearly disturbed her fellow co-hosts' critical remarks against Bloomberg, Behar spat, "[I]f we keep taking the Democrats down, Trump is going to win."

McCain fired back, "If Democrats don't take [Bloomberg] out, Republicans will. ... You want to go up against Trump and you want to take the moral high ground, I don't know if [Bloomberg] is going to be the guy.

"I'm supposed to give Bloomberg a pass? Not on this show," she added.

'Who are you voting for?'

Behar, apparently taken aback by McCain's disdain for Bloomberg, demanded, "I would like to know who you are going to vote for. Who are you voting for?"

McCain responded by pointing out her vote was none of Behar's business.

“Who I vote for is none of your business," McCain quipped, “but I am not voting for Trump and I sure as hell am not voting for Bloomberg."

Behar took it as McCain wouldn't be voting.

"So you're not going to vote. So you're not going to vote," Behar griped. "You're not voting for Trump and you're not voting for a Democrat. You said that already."

McCain, undaunted, fired back, "[Y]ou guys have done a p***-poor job of convincing me to vote for a Democrat."
