Adult film star Stormy Daniels lashed out at Michael Cohen after she found out that he had backed off of his agreement to testify publicly before Congress against President Donald Trump.
Cohen, who had been Trump's longtime friend and personal lawyer, had said that he would testify publicly, but he reneged after the president and his allies made accusations and insinuations against his father-in-law.
Daniels was upset at Cohen for backing out and ripped into him in an expletive-laden tweet.
"Are you f***ing serious, Mikey?!" she tweeted. "What about MY family? You gave zero s***s about my baby."
"In all serious though, this is WHY you shouldn't back down!" Daniels added. "This is your chance to be a hero! I'll loan you some of my b*lls, hold your hand, or whatever else you need to do the right thing."
Daniels was at the center of the accusations made by Cohen at the president after he admitted that he made a payment to her in order to buy her silence over an extramarital affair she had with Trump ahead of the 2016 election.
Her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, also criticized Cohen and accused him of trying to escape responsibility for his actions.
"This has nothing to do with threats or his family and everything to do with Cohen avoiding further charges," Avenatti tweeted, "having to be accountable for his actions, and avoiding answering tough questions about his conspiracy and Trump's role."
"It is ludicrous that Michael Cohen and Lanny Davis are attempting to sell Cohen's refusal to testify as him looking out for his family," he added in a second tweet.
It is ludicrous that Michael Cohen and Lanny Davis are attempting to sell Cohen's refusal to testify as him looking out for his family. We have all received numerous threats, especially @StormyDaniels (largely due to Cohen btw). It doesn't stop us from doing what is right.

When asked to comment on Cohen's accusation that he was threatening his family, the president answered, "I would say he's been threatened by the truth, he's only been threatened by the truth.
"He doesn't want to tell the truth for me," Trump concluded.
