Immigration problems, sanctuary cities and threats to the homeland

Chris Salcedo talks with Texas Congressman Michael McCaul about the current immigration problems. Michael shares his thoughts on making California a "sanctuary state" for illegal immigrants. Congressman McCaul states he has issue with "sanctuary cities" as they disobey federal law, and he voices his concern about the path Congress is travelling on earmarks.

"The bottom line is, when there's a federal ICE detainer on an alien, particularly a criminal alien, it's incumbent upon the mayor and the police chief to honor that federal ICE detainer. ... The idea that the entire state of California is basically saying we're going to disregard federal law, we're going to harbor criminal aliens in our state, it's crazy," Michael remarks.
