Trump's approval rating hits new, unprecedented low

In the latest figures released by Gallup, President Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen to 37 percent among all Americans (a broader category than likely voters, who are the target of many presidential approval polls). According to Gallup, Trump is the only president since polling began during the Truman administration to see his net approval rating reach a negative value by this point in his first term.

Monday on "Pat & Stu," the guys compared Trump's approval rating to presidents from Truman to today and expressed their shock that other presidents whose early days in office were notoriously rocky had avoided a negative approval rating. However, they were not surprised that the American people were not looking kindly on Trump's performance so far.

"It's not a surprise to anyone that Trump would be the least popular president in measured history at this point," Stu  Burguiere said.
