The Trump administration has invited the entire U.S. senate to the White House to have a briefing on North Korea with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford.
Monday on "The Chris Salcedo Show," Chris Salcedo speculated as to what might be discussed. He believed North Korea has been learning "an awful lot from their failures," referring to recent attempts to launch nuclear warheads. He also stated that "if it weren't for the Clinton administration, North Korea would not be a nuclear power."
Chris was referencing the plan then-president Bill Clinton approved in 1994 to send $4 billion in energy aid to North Korea over a ten year period. The country was then expected to commit to ending and dismantling its nuclear weapons development program.
Recent events have proven that North Korea did not uphold its end of the bargain.
