Why the mainstream media should not be shut out from press briefings at the White House

The actions taken by the Trump Administration to block certain media outlets from press briefings isn't right, as the press is supposed to have a tense relationship with the White House. Mike Opelka states that you can't shut down all of the mainstream media. He feels that for the president to be crying about not having a fair shake is a bit disingenuous. Mike agrees with Jake Tapper's statement which explains how the Trump Administration is attempting to avoid the need for checks and balances and accountability.
