Yaron Brook: Do Trump’s policies really reflect his ‘America First’ motto?

Are you happy with President Donald Trump’s foreign policy and if not, what would you change? Yaron Brook invited the audience to share their opinions by calling in or tweeting on this week’s episode of “The Yaron Brook Show.”

Yaron asked some important questions: What are America’s interests, what does “America First” actually mean, and is the Trump administration really promoting an America First agenda?

Trump ran on a non-interventionist foreign policy platform, saying that America should look out for U.S. interests and stop spending money on foreign wars and defense for other countries. Voters seemed to be rebelling against the foreign policy of the last two presidents, Barack Obama and George W. Bush, when they elected him. Obama apologized for America, while Bush emphasized an interventionist foreign policy that involved spending money and losing American lives helping other countries become more free.

“Donald Trump presented himself as a rejection of all that,” Yaron said. The main question is whether or not Trump’s “America First” rallying cry has actually been turned into action now that he’s president.
