Zuhdi Jasser: Following Barcelona, the media chose to coddle Islam again
August 29, 2017
After an Islamist terror attack by radical Muslims in Barcelona, the Western media says Muslims fear a backlash rather than demand that Muslims wake up and lead reform. Al Jazeera's response was to accuse Charlie Hebdo of fomenting Islamophobia for a cartoon that lay the responsibility for the attack squarely on Islam itself.
Dr. Zhudi Jasser said, "If you have a belief that you want to impose on people or prevent people from criticizing, then it's not worth listening to," on "Reform This!" He also pointed out that if a faith cannot be critiqued, it cannot be reformed.
