WATCH: Vice President Kamala Harris' CRINGE World Space Day video explained

The "Get Curious with Vice President Harris" video was released Oct. 7 to celebrate World Space Week.

In this clip, Steven Crowder cited reports that revealed the children in the video to be child actors, a revelation that increased criticism of the vice president.

According to reports, "One of the children said he had to send in a monologue to get the part."

Harris chairs the National Space Council but has been criticized for appearing to lack in-depth knowledge on space exploration.

"'You're gonna literally see the craters on the moon with your own eyes!" Harris said on the video.

Crowder said the reason for paid child actors was because the vice president is so unlikeable "that the production company probably did not trust that Vice President Harris could get an organic reaction out of unpaid kids."
