After weekend of deadly violence in Gaza, Trump says US supports Israel '100 percent'

Over the weekend, Palestinian militants launched more than 600 rockets at Israel, leaving four Israelis dead and four wounded. The Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) retaliatory attacks, which targeted known military sites in Gaza including those belonging to Hamas, have resulted in the deaths of up to 23 Palestinians.

In the wake of what was the worst eruption of violence in the region since the 2014 war, President Donald Trump said the United States supports Israel "100 percent."

So what sparked this latest surge of violence in the Gaza Strip? Chief researcher Jason Buttrill joined Glenn Beck on Monday's radio program to connect the dots and explain how the events correlate to the president's response.
