Facebook is under fire again for misusing your personal information. Cambridge Analytica, a data analysis firm based in London, reportedly tapped info from 50 million Facebook users that was inappropriately obtained. The social network's stock is falling for the second day in a row.

TV producer and two-time Emmy nominee Riaz Patel sat down with Glenn in the studio today to talk about the role social media plays in the "shocking" divide between Washington, D.C. and places like Texas. People have different opinions often because the news they read and see is completely different.

"The flow of information is so separate," Patel said. "If you don't have people talking and saying, 'Hey, did you hear that story?' then what do you do?"

We've gone from questioning the news to reading propaganda on our feeds that intentionally polarizes us.

"We're being categorized and pitted against each other in a scientific way," Glenn said.
