Ben Shapiro challenges Ocasio-Cortez to a debate, offers $10K if she accepts
August 09, 2018
Conservative firebrand Ben Shapiro challenged Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is running to represent New York’s 14th Congressional District, to a debate on Sunday. He even offered $10,000 for her campaign, or to charity, if she accepts his challenge.
"I want to make a direct appeal to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez," Shapiro said in a segment on "The Ben Shapiro Show." "You’ve noted that you think Republicans are afraid to debate you or talk to you or discuss the issues with you. Not only am I eager to discuss the issues with you, I’m willing to offer $10,000 to your campaign today for you to come on our Sunday special and we can have an hourlong conversation about all the topics under the sun."
I'd be happy to give money to her campaign for a debate. If we instead raised money for charity to make this happen, I'll bet we could easily raise $50,000. https://t.co/H1Ubb5FWo5

As of this writing, Ocasio-Cortez has not responded to Shapiro's offer.
