Here's how Ron Goldman's family landed O.J. Simpson in a Nevada prison cell

John Ziegler, a conservative radio talk show host turned writer and columnist for Mediaite, joins “Pat & Stu” to discuss his latest column and his connection to O.J. Simpson and the Goldman family. In a lengthy article, Ziegler chronicled what went down with Simpson during a bizarre turn of events at a memorabilia heist in Las Vegas which led to Simpson’s imprisonment.

“This whole bizarre fiasco was many years in the making and there was a domino effect that started with really the key dominoes. And the real credit here goes to the Goldman family,” said Ziegler in the interview.

“They did not give up and they made O.J. Simpson go underground and deal with incredibly disreputable people – I’m talking the scum of the Earth.”

Ziegler discussed what led up to the chaotic night in the Las Vegas hotel room and claimed it all stems from Simpson’s acquittal for the murder of Ronald Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.

According to Simpson and several witnesses, the former football athlete arrived at the hotel to retrieve property he said was stolen from him by memorabilia dealers.  The confrontation wound up landing Simpson in jail after a Nevada court convicted him in 2008 of armed robbery and kidnapping.

Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison but only served nine after parole was granted by a Lovelock parole board yesterday.
