Paris climate change summit is happening -- only without President Trump

Low-level government officials will be invited to the Paris climate change summit following President Trump's withdrawal from the 2015 deal, however, the president himself is not expected to attend, as of now.
The United States can't officially pull out of the deal until 2020 but are currently renegotiating the terms of the agreement. Syria and Nicaragua are the latest countries to jump on board with the deal.
