Taxpayers set to fund $50,000 worth of conferences that teach women entrepreneurship in India

The Washington Free Beacon has reported that the State Department will spend up to $50,000 of your tax dollars on conferences in India teaching women how to become professional video bloggers and entrepreneurs later this year.

"SHE Vlogs: Video Blogging Training for Women Entrepreneurs in North India," is an initiative by the U.S. Embassy in New Dehli -- in partnership with the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit between the United States and India -- that will focus on providing a curriculum filled with workshops and guest speakers promoting women's entrepreneurship. In India.

Surely there are some Americans right here at home who would love to become entrepreneurs, right?

The program is slated to begin this year and applications will be accepted until mid-February. Funds for the program will go to a non-profit who will "conduct two-day vlogging workshops in New Delhi, Chandigarh, and Varanasi that will teach women entrepreneurs how to produce 60-second videos using commercially available technology."

Pat wasn't too thrilled with the idea. See his reaction to this above.
