Founder of the Initiative Network Grant Skeldon shares how humility is hard to resist. Generations, races, and political parties all struggle with the humility to admit when a mistake has been made. He joined Tracy Levinson to explore the power of humility and forgiveness.
An apology only takes one person to say "I'm sorry," hoping that the argument is done and the offended party will get over it. Forgiveness takes two people -- one to be contrite and the other to reconcile.
Asking for forgiveness invites relationship to continue, and it's very simple to do. All we need is to ask is, "will you forgive me?" after we offer our apologies.
