The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, a coalition of evangelical leaders, released a manifesto this week called “The Nashville Statement.” The manifesto is made up of 14 articles, which outline their beliefs, as Christians, regarding sexuality and marriage as taught in the Bible.

In essence, The Nashville Statement defines marriage as “a lifelong union between one man and one woman” and denies the “approval of homosexual immorality and transgenderism,” calling such approval by faithful Christians “moral indifference.”

Nashville’s mayor, Megan Barry, denounced the manifesto in a tweet, saying the "so-called 'Nashville Statement' is poorly named and does not represent the inclusive values of the city & people of Nashville."

Watch as Dana Loesch discusses the controversial Christian statement and takes on the critics in this video clip from the “Dana” show.
