According to a report authored by Dr. David Grantham, senior consultant for the National Center for Policy Analysis, the ever-increasing threat of terrorism from Islamic extremists in Latin American is a major security concern for the US.

“The Islamic Republic has the capability and infrastructure to strike the United States from Latin America,” wrote Grantham in the report.
