White student is accosted by black students in hallway over dreadlocks: 'Cause it's my culture
December 29, 2017
Is this really what college is like now? Just last year, a video surfaced of a white student minding his own business on the way to class was accosted by two black students because his hair was in dreadlocks. The young woman accused the man of "cultural appropriation" claiming dreadlocks are "her culture" and that he shouldn't be wearing them.
Fortunately, he didn't let her off easily and challenged the notion. "You're saying that I can't have a hairstyle because of your culture? Why?" he responded calmly but sternly. "Cause it's my culture," she responded before grabbing him by his clothes and backpack while standing in his way of the stairs.
Watch the insanity above and Pat's reaction to how ridiculous cultural appropriation is.
