Kindergarteners left ‘crying and shaking’ after teacher taught them this -- without telling parents
August 24, 2017
A California kindergarten teacher read two books about “transitioning” to her students, sending at least one student home in tears. After the Rocklin Academy teacher read the books on gender identity to the kids, a student in the class who identifies as transgender reportedly changed clothes to do a “gender reveal,” according to parents.
"The kindergartners came home very confused about whether or not you can pick your gender, whether or not they really were a boy or a girl," one parent said. Brandon Morse had the story on Thursday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.”
“That is actually a common thing you’ll see,” Brandon said. “A lot of these schools and teachers will actually do this pro-transgenderism stuff without first notifying the parents that they’re actually doing it.”
The Rocklin, California community spoke out at a school meeting on Monday. "My daughter came home crying and shaking, so afraid that she could turn into a boy," a parent said at the meeting.
Parents had not been informed that the class would discuss gender identity or that the kindergarteners would be witnessing a “gender reveal” in action.
