Here’s everything you need to know about the history of the alt-right

The "alt-right" in America begins with three people: Richard Spencer, Preston Wiginton, and Matthew Heimbach, however, its roots can be traced to Russia and Scandinavia.

Glenn Beck took to the chalk board on tonight's "Glenn" to give a thorough and extensive history of the alt-right and various fascist movements.

The Golden Dawn party, which Glenn Beck began talking about in 2009, is a neo-Nazi fascist group led by Nikolaos Michaloliakos in Scandinavia who have been known to violently target immigrant communities.

The next group the panel focused on is the Nordic Resistance Movement in Sweden, Finland, and Norway, which has ties to Russian special services, and trains in Russia. The group went from holding talks and rallies to armed conflict.

How are these groups funded? They’re funded by Russians. Russian fascist Aleksandr Dugin is the dangerous key player in all of this.

Dugin is notoriously known for his neo-fascist views that concentrate on nationalism to bring glory back to Russia, and for his cozy relationship with the Kremlin. Dugin wants this dangerous idea to spread throughout Europe to create international chaos.

Matthew Heimbach, a disciple of Dugin’s and neo-Nazi here in America, started a white supremacist group called the Traditionalist Youth Movement. This same group shares a version of the same Symbol of Chaos adopted by Dugin, which is essentially a seven pointed star. Heimbach recently held a Skype rally with Dugin in California where he admitted, “Putin is supporting nationalists around the world.”

Preston Wigginton also recently held a Dugin Skype rally and plans to hold a “White Lives Matter” rally at Texas A & M following Charlottesville, with or without the university’s consent as reported by the Texas Tribune.
