John Kerry throws in with Islamist radicals, tells Palestinians to #ResistTrump

Conservative Review

Former Secretary of State John Kerry has picked up what appears to be a pro-bono consulting gig for the anti-Semitic Holocaust denier who serves as president of the Palestinian Authority.

Several foreign media outlets are reporting that Kerry is quietly advising Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on how to thwart President Trump’s initiatives in the Middle East.

“Hold on and be strong,” Kerry recently told an Abbas adviser, insisting that the Palestinian should not “yield to President Trump’s demands,” Ma'ariv reports.

In what appears to be an attempt to further garner influence with the Palestinians (and get them to resist and wait out President Trump), Kerry reportedly told them that he is considering running for president in 2020.

These comments should come as no surprise to pro-Israel observers. As secretary of state, Kerry took every opportunity to publicly castigate the Jewish state, while ignoring the very real atrocities being committed by rogue nations worldwide.

Days before ending his tenure as secretary of state, Kerry falsely claimed that Israel's center-right coalition is led by "extremist settlers” and said Israel had no interest in peace with the Palestinians. In a long-winded speech, Kerry promoted a moral equivalence between the free, democratic Israel and terror-supporting Palestinian entities.

Kerry became so militantly anti-Israel during his term that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly rebuked his inflammatory comments. "I must express my deep disappointment with the speech today of John Kerry,” Netanyahu said following Kerry’s hateful remarks. "Like the Security Council resolution that Secretary Kerry advanced in the U.N., his speech tonight was skewed against Israel."

In December 2016, just one month before President Trump stepped into office, Kerry reportedly met with Palestinian representatives to help them thwart Trump’s coming pro-Israel agenda. According to Middle East media outlets, Kerry, Susan Rice, and Palestinian officials helped draft what would later become the infamous anti-Israel U.N. resolution claiming that Israel does not have the right to its sovereign land. The resolution declared that two of the holiest sites in Judaism — the Western Wall and the Temple Mount — and the entirety of the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem were all “Palestinian” lands. President Obama could have vetoed the resolution, but he chose to abstain.

Additionally, he constantly threatened Israel with isolation and abandonment, should Jerusalem not get on board with Obama White House proposals. When it came to rallying support for the Iran Deal, Kerry and Obama officials claimed that Americans and legislators who didn’t support the nuclear accord were beholden to Israel.
