Mark Levin: My father wrote 'Our Police' to help children 'respect law and order'

Last Thursday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin shared about his father's new children's book, called "Our Police."

"Growing up as a young child and then a teenager on the tough streets of Philadelphia in the 1920s and '30s, my father, Jack, gained a fond appreciation for the role of the police. My parents taught us from a young age to respect the police and their difficult job," Levin said.

Levin explained that his father, who is 93 years old, wrote the book to encourage young children to respect the law enforcement officers who ensure that their lives, liberty, and property are safeguarded.

"Having witnessed recent events, and related news reports painting police officers and police departments in an extremely negative light, he thought a book especially geared to our young people was essential, so that they learn to respect law and order," Levin said.

Listen:

"In each book he seeks to open the eyes and minds of young people to the greatness of American history, principles, and values, and he wants the next generation to be as proud of America as his generation," Levin explained.

The book, written and illustrated by Jack Levin, will be released on October 30, but can be pre-ordered online now.
