Phil Robertson takes on Zuckerberg after Facebook censors his video for 'violent content'

Facebook is censoring CRTV host Phil Robertson again.

For the second time now, Facebook has slapped a graphic content warning on a clip from an episode of CRTV's "In the Woods with Phil" about preparing food to eat. In the other censored video, Robertson prepared a duck for gumbo. In this new one, he shows viewers how he skins and guts catfish for frying.

As you can see in this screenshot, the video was covered with a "violent or graphic content" warning.

On Friday, Robertson addressed Facebook's censorship in a live video message to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

"Skinning a catfish, and they censor it," Robertson said. "Mark, you and your team. I saw you coming on television when you were coming up the way going in there to testify before Congress for why you are discriminating and censoring free speech."

"I looked at you and at your team, the little leftwing chicks, they all looked pretty spiffy. I could tell that they'd taken great pains that if they have any peach fuzz on their face ... their faces were smooth. And I looked at you and so was yours. Your face looked like the buttocks of a 3-month-old baby."

"Here's the Constitution," he said holding up a pocket Constitution. "You cannot abridge the freedom of speech. It's unconstitutional to abridge. So I looked up 'abridge' this morning. What exactly, if you 'abridge' freedom of speech, what would you do?"

"You know what you would do, Zuckerberg? You would do what you've been doing."

"Get off my back, son," Robertson said.

In the full censored episode of "In the Woods with Phil" on CRTV, Robertson explains that when you buy pre-packaged fish at the grocery store, it was prepared like this first.

"All these yuppies, when they finally get their fish, they're frozen," Robertson says. "They have what they call fish sticks. They'll be little squares in a pack in the frozen food department."

"When you live next to the river like we do, you never eat frozen fish, ever," he continues.

But for the yuppies at Facebook, preparing food is too "violent" for their delicate sensibilities. So is conservative content, as Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, pointed out when he grilled Zuckerberg on Facebook's anti-conservative bias during his congressional testimony earlier this week.

As Zuckerberg admitted in his testimony, Silicon Valley is a "extremely left-leaning place," and Big Tech's "free" platforms, like Facebook, Google, and Twitter are all run by progressives hostile to conservative points of view — and totally willing to shut them down. This is why Robertson, Mark Levin, Steven Crowder, Michelle Malkin, and many more host their shows on CRTV, a pro-free speech platform where they're truly free to speak their minds.

Update, 4/16/18:

Facebook removed the warning screen from Robertson's catfish video on Saturday. The tech giant said the warning had been "mistakenly applied."
