The off-year gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia wrap up tonight in what many in the media will likely interpret as a referendum on President Trump.
This is especially true in Virginia, where Republican Ed Gillespie ran an aggressive campaign against illegal immigration and sanctuary cities — a campaign Democratic candidate Ralph Northam has characterized as racist.
