Vote Alert: House: Continue Flood Insurance Subsidies

This bill canceled out Flood Insurance reforms designed to make the program sustainable. Currently taxpayers around the country subsidize flood insurance premiums in flood prone areas. Canceling Flood Insurance reforms will bankrupt the program, requiring another taxpayer bail out. This bill passed the House 306 – 91 on Mar. 4, 2014, and was later signed by the president into law.
