WTF MSM!? You asked for it

Road tripping …

Shortly after you get this email in your inbox, I’ll be setting my sights on a 2000-mile road trip to get back home to Massachusetts from South Carolina. But Rob, you may be saying, it’s only 950 miles back to Massachusetts from South Carolina. You’d be right. I’m going the long way as I continue my quest to drive through or walk in every county in the United States. I’ve got over a third of them done. For you, that means WTF MSM!? will be taking a hiatus until July 10, 2017.

Bloody tweets …

Trump strikes again … Yesterday, President Trump went low, really low, in a tweet about Morning Joe and his fiancé Mika. He went after them for allegedly sucking up to him at Mar-a-Lago over the holidays and then added that Mika had had a facelift and was “bleeding.” White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders explained the tweet by saying that if the president feels attacked he will fight back.

Media took the bait … Quite predictably, the media took the bait and devoted all of their coverage to the tweet. They weren’t talking about health care, the sanctuary cities funding ban passed yesterday in the House, or a whole host of other topics they would have covered otherwise. So the question is, are incendiary tweets by Trump really off the wall, or are they part of some communications strategy he has designed to change the subject?

Please let us cover health care … CNN’s Brian Stelter reported that his colleague Dana Bash said something that proves my last point. Bash said, "Please. Please give us a day where we can talk about the health care policy of this nation," and reportedly added "[and not a] ridiculous tweet.” Ms. Bash, you don’t have to talk about the tweet, you can talk about health care. It’s your show.

How do we stop the mainstream media from warping the national narrative? We push back together. With the truth. Be the first to receive CRTV’s free weapon against the worst the media has to offer. Introducing WTF MSM!?

Constructive criticism …

Stelter asked for it … CNN’s Stelter has been labeling conservative critics of the MSM as “anti-journalism” cranks not offering constructive criticism. I took him up on his challenge to provide some purely constructive criticism. If you missed it on Thursday, here it is.

NYT major retraction on Russia … On Sunday, the New York Times reported that “all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies agreed” that Russia was responsible for attacks on the U.S. election. The Daily Caller reported on Thursday that the Times has since corrected the story to say it was only “four intelligence agencies.” But once again, by then, the story had already circulated.

What is Fake News? … Andrew Klavan teaches a great lesson on fake news over at Prager University’s YouTube channel. Klavan makes a strong argument that all news is “fake” because it is presented through the biased lens of overwhelmingly leftist reporters, producers, and editors. That bias seeps through and shapes everything they do. It is well worth a watch.

Third CNN undercover video … The third CNN undercover video is out, in which a CNN associate producer says the American people are “stupid as shit.” Watch here.

Help me fight back …

I can’t fight back alone against the mainstream media. I need your help. There are two ways you can help. First, send your friends – and even your enemies – over to CRTV.com/WTFMSM and have them sign up to get this email. Second, email me at reno@crtv.com with anything you see the media do. Together, we can fight back.
