Ilhan Omar's ethics have come into question again, this time in the form of an alleged affair
August 29, 2019
Ilhan Omar's hypocrisy must be considered
On Wednesday's episode of "White House Brief," Jon Miller discussed allegations of an affair involving Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and her campaign strategist, Tim Mynett.
According to court documents, a D.C. woman, Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett, separated from her husband on or around April 7, 2019, when her husband, Tim, told her he was romantically involved with another woman — Ilhan Omar.
Jon explained that Omar's campaign had paid Mynett's company $250K, and that he traveled with Omar even though travel is not required. When asked if she had been dating anyone or had any interest in dating anyone, Omar told a local reporter she had no interest in addressing questions about her personal life.
Jon asserted that if allegations of an affair were true, Omar's ethical behavior ought to be considered. He went on to say that the mainstream media had not raised questions about Omar's ethical behavior.
"When some floozy comes out of the woodwork alleging that [President Donald] Trump sexually assaulted her, the media pounces," Miller explained.
