A not-so-secret secret 'Jersey Shore' proposal

Sometimes you just have to shake your head.

The New York Postreports today that Iraq War veteran Jeff Miranda will propose to his girlfriend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, the infamous star of the surprisingly popular MTV series, "Jersey Shore," through a magazine cover (Steppin' Up). The cover "will feature a shirtless Miranda dressed in typical army garb on one knee with the headline 'Jeff Miranda has a question for Snooki, Will you marry me?'"

“Once she deals with the shock I think they'll [sic] say yes. I really do. In fact, I know she'll say yes,” Miranda boasted.

Call me a proposal humbug, but how will it be a surprise if he's already doing interviews about it with the Post?
