Sex & the Solar Panel

In enviros' latest attempt to get people on board with renewable energy, tree huggers have unveiled a gratuitous new ploy: a pinup calendar of "Renewable Girls." The one-and-only Huffington Post reports:

The calendar was shot by New York photographer Giacomo Fortunato and, according to Renewable Girls, "aims to widen solar's cultural appeal."

Addressing critics who find the approach distasteful, Renewable Girls founder John B. says, "Some tree huggers fear that degrading solar by exploiting woman will alienate potential adopters."

Oh, thank goodness the solar panels will not be degraded in this advertising campaign!  Forget about those near-naked models!
