On Wednesday, the House Speaker John Boehner scolded his Senate colleagues across the aisle for "rooting for a government shutdown" instead of working to make compromises on a budget.
Instead of hoping for failure, Boehner encouraged Senate Dems to "pass the damn thing" so the Republican-controlled House can actually work on a compromise.
