MSNBC's Ed Schultz to Weiner: 'Take One For the Team' and Resign

Fresh off his suspension and own TV apology for calling Laura Ingraham a "slut," MSNBC host Ed Schultz called on Rep. Anthony Weiner to resign.

According to Schultz, the Weiner scandal has now become a distraction from the real issues like jobs and health care. And there's only one person who can "make this go away" and "end this story." Schultz even went as far as to call out Weiner's character, saying that Weiner hasn't taken full responsibility because he only came forward when it was obvious he was caught.

"You've go to take one for the team, the country, your constituents, your party... " Schultz said, later adding that, "if you believe in yourself, you will resign, and you will come back and run again in 20112 because that's what the taxpayers deserve."
