The media were likely disappointed this week when presidential contender Michele Bachmann failed to launch into a politically correct tirade about sexism in politics after an aide to another GOP presidential hopeful pointed out the congresswoman's "sex appeal." Instead, Bachmann shrugged off the remarks and suggested she was actually flattered by the remarks:
Bachmann's response to the non-issue was pretty refreshing. Instead of attacking her opponent as sexist or worse, Bachmann took the high road and was able to find humor in the benign remarks. The flub in this particular situation came from Pawlenty's aide who actually issued an apology for making the remarks which are undoubtedly true.
