Dem plea to donors: Help us undermine constitutional checks & balances!

The latest fundraising appeal from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi includes a survey asking donors:
How important is it for Congress to undo the damage of the Supreme Court's decision to allow large corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money to influence the outcome of national elections?
The choices respondents are given: "very important," "somewhat important," "not very important" and "not important at all."
I would humbly submit a fifth and more pertinent choice: "Congress does not have the constitutional authority to overrule the Supreme Court."
We all remember the terse yet silent exchange between the president and Justice Sam Alito on this issue during Obama's State of the Union last year:
More than a year and a half later, do Democrats honestly think this settled issue will propel them to victory in 2012?
