"Open the bathroom door... let him go in the bathroom!"
Last Friday morning, during Delta flight 5121 from Madison, WI to Atlanta, the plane was forced to turn back to the airport because of a "flying animal." (CNN reported that a spokesperson from Delta's airline partner, Atlantic Southeast Airline used the term flying animal.)
The animal is obviously a bat, and thanks to a quick-thinking passenger, it was trapped in the plane's bathroom. The pilot returned to Madison, where the animal was removed. The plane was eventually cleared and was soon winging its way back to Atlanta.
