MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough Has a New Country Song About 9/11 & America’s Wars (Really!)

"How many more have to die before my sweet boy comes home?"

Joe Scarborough, former Republican congressman and “Morning Joe” co-host, has released a new country song entitled, "Reason to Believe," about 9/11 and the wars that followed.

The music video for the song is largely a tribute to the military and their families. At one point, Scarborough sings:

“In an endless war, tell me please how many more have to die before my sweet boy comes home?”

The MSNBC morning host told the Huffington Post the following about the song's theme:

"It's critical that we remember the heroes of 9/11 and those who are still fighting in an endless war. They need to come home. It's time."

You can buy the song on iTunes. A portion of the proceeds will benefit wounded military personnel through UCLA’s Operation Mend.
