A-Listers absent Obama’s Hollywood fundraiser

President Obama will be right at home in Los Angeles for a two-day fundraiser next week, but many of the entertainment industry's A-Listers will be kind of absent. The somewhat disappointing lineup of performers showing up to support Obama includes rapper B.o.B, Adam 12 from the band She Wants Revenge and the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles. "Modern Family"s Jesse Tyler Ferguson will MC the event at the House of Blues.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

The House of Blues line up is further indication that while Hollywood's upper strata -- measured by income and star wattage -- may ultimately rally behind the president, there is little enthusiasm for the man now.

"Maybe Stevie [Wonder]'s was busy?" offered Hollywood politico and publicist Howard Bragman. "For me, it's a non-issue. I think Obama is going to get all the talent he needs as he gets closer to the election. As soon as one of those Republicans gains in the polls, we'll have all the enthusiasm we need."
