Watch terrifying moments of D.C. quake from inside Washington Monument

Newly released security camera footage from the Washington Monument's observation deck captured the horrifying moments as tourists scrambled to evacuate while the 555-foot obelisk shook violently during the recent East Coast 5.8 magnitude earthquake.  In a word: yikes.

The National Park Service announced Monday that the monument will remain closed "indefinitely."
