Fireball Explodes Out of a Manhole Just Feet From a Terrified Couple

Have you ever deliberately avoided stepping on a manhole cover embedded in a sidewalk or street because -- let's face it -- you never know if it's on tightly enough?

If you're one of the cautious walkers who avoid stepping on these covers, the following footage may have you distancing yourself even more from manholes.

Watch, below, as a fireball erupts just feet in front of a strolling couple:

The incident took place in Peterborough, U.K., and, as the report states, this manhole is a particularly unruly one. There was an even larger blast earlier when no one was around.
