Poll: Romney for president, Gingrich for dinner

The results of a Bloomberg national poll were published today and show a plurality of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents (37 percent) prefer Mitt Romney to be the GOP's presidential nominee.

Ten points behind is Rick Santorum. At a distance third, Newt Gingrich (13 percent) and finally Ron Paul (11 percent).

But there's some good news for Gingrich: More respondents said they would like to have dinner with him than any of the others. Unfortunately for Santorum, he was the least desirable as a dinner guest. Which is too bad; his wife Karen says he makes an excellent Chicken Marsala.
